Lining Up Work For Stay-At-Home Moms
Of course, the sort of thing Miss Abigail is talking about can lead to
motherhood - if things go the right and proper way. So it makes sense that
old-fashioned dating advice should be accompanied by a dose of updated,
old-fashioned mothering. And Stacy Perez, owner of a Web company called Dot Com
Mommies, reputedly is on her way to her stated goal of bringing back the mom of
the 1950s, using the Internet. Her service began last spring as a free online
business resource allowing women to find work-at-home employment. Perez, herself
a stay-at-home mom, shares her research with other moms so they can earn money
from home but still be there for the kids. Dot Com Mommies has evolved into a
popular avenue for advertising by legitimate companies seeking to find women who
want to work from home. Perez researches each work-at-home opening she comes
across before posting it to her site, and then communicates with numerous women
via e-mail on a daily basis to line them up with the work. "The high-tech
evolution of the Internet is allowing me to help women find legitimate
work-from-home opportunities so they can contribute to the household budget
while making a better life for their family by remaining at home," says Perez,
who is quoted in a press release. World Wide Web: www.dotcommommies.com.
